Please be informed of the following:

Due to the forthcoming abolition of the Conference Block Exemption
by the EEC (on October 18th, 2008) our Company policy has been reviewed
against the current BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor).

MSC has decided to create its own BUNKER CONTRIBUTION
which will replace the current Bunker Adjustment Factor on our European Services.

The charge code to be used for the BUNKER CONTRIBUTION will be BUC and
same will be mandatory as of Sept. 1st for all cargo TO and FROM any European Port.
For cargo moving VIA any European Port the BUC charge will as well be utilized.

Bunker Contribution (BUC)

1st September

To Mediteterranean, Black Sea, West Coast Europe Region, Red sea
and West Africa: USD 755 per TEU

To UK, North West Continent, Scandinavia and Baltic Sea Region: USD 755 per TEU

Low Sulphur Fuel Contribution (LSC):

1st September

Low Sulphur Contribution will also apply to UK, North West Continent, Scandinavia
and Baltic Sea Region: USD 13 per TEU

Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)

1st September

Ex Asia To NWC, UK, Scandinavia, Baltic Sea Region, Mediterranean and
Black Sea and North Africa:

The CAF applicable for the month of September 2008 will be: 17.9 %
