WESTBOUND RATE RESTORATION

All Member Lines continue to face considerable increases in costs; delays and congestion continue to add to costs and have a detrimental effect on the carriers ability to operate efficiently. In an attempt to off-set the adverse impact Lines will revise rates with effect from Friday 1st February 2008.

Westbound

From: Mumbai, Kandla, Pipavav, and Karachi (and all other ports within this range).

To: UK, North Continent, Scandinavian, Baltic and Mediterranean Ports.

An Increase of USD 200/20' and USD 400/40' with effect from 1st February 2008 (valid until 31st March 2008 only)

In addition and as part of the Business Plan , Members will keep ancillary tariff items such as Special Equipment Additionals and Surcharges, under review.
